The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions again.
More importantly, they have a talented and well-balanced roster that will allow them to stay competitive for years to come.
That’s why even the veterans want to stay there for the long run.
Shortly after beating the Kansas City Chiefs, star OT Lane Johnson made it loud and clear that he’s not going anywhere.
Johnson told The Athletic’s Dianna Russini that he won’t retire and will now strive to win two consecutive Super Bowls.

The former No. 4 pick has spent his entire career with the Eagles.
He’s been a stalwart there for over a decade and, at 34, is still going strong.
The Eagles lost a key member of their offensive line when Jason Kelce announced his retirement after the 2023 season, and they were facing a similar situation with Johnson.
Now, the veteran is ready to run it back.
Even so, Howie Roseman is most definitely going to address this situation before it gets too late.
Just like they did with Cam Jurgens when Kelce was there, they could try to mentor Darian Kinnard to take over at right tackle once he’s ready to retire.
He could also target someone in the NFL Draft, knowing that they won’t have that many holes to fill on the roster.
The Eagles are in a position to be very good for a very long time, and even though no one can escape Father Time, it’s hard to walk away from such a special team.
