The Baltimore Ravens could be without quarterback Lamar Jackson for their must-win game in Week 17.
The Baltimore Ravens are entering a must-win game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 17, and they may be doing so without two-time NFL MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Jackson, who exited the Ravens’ 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots with a back injury, could reportedly barely move on the sideline, backup quarterback Tyler Huntley said, via Ryan Mink of baltimoreravens.com.

Jackson was never able to return after he left the game in the second quarter, and it proved to be a major loss for Baltimore as it gave up 15 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
The Ravens needed to win the game to keep pace with the Steelers, who upset the Detroit Lions, in the AFC North. Now their Week 17 matchup against the Packers is a must-win game.
If Baltimore losses to Green Bay on Saturday night, Pittsburgh will be crowned the champions of the AFC North, which is something that hasn’t happened since the 2020 season, when Ben Roethlisberger was the team’s quarterback.
The Packers are also facing a major question mark at quarterback as Jordan Love exited their Week 16 loss to the Chicago Bears with a concussion. However, many players have been able to work their way through the concussion protocols in a week’s time.
It’s unclear how severe Jackson’s back injury is, but Sunday night’s game was a very important one and the Ravens felt the need to keep him sidelined. That certainly doesn’t bode well for his chances this week.
Huntley has stepped in to lead Baltimore to the playoffs before, but that was in 2022 and the stakes are much higher this time.
