Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson hasn’t been himself this season. After rushing for 63 yards per game over the last six seasons, the two-time MVP has only averaged 30 rushing yards per game in 2025, in part because of a hamstring injury that he suffered in the first month of the year. On Sunday Night Football against the New England Patriots, though, his injury situation became more serious.

Jackson left the game with a back injury, which the Ravens stated made him questionable for the rest of the game. When Baltimore came out of the half, though, it was still Tyler “Snoop” Huntley under center for the Ravens, not Jackson.

Baltimore will be on a sped-up schedule next week, as they’ll face the Green Bay Packers on Saturday at Lambeau Field. That means that the Ravens’ final practice of the week will be on Thursday, as the team will need to be traveling on Friday.

So, on top of Jordan Love potentially being out for the Packers with a concussion, Jackson could be out with a back issue. A Malik Willis vs. Tyler Huntley showdown is very much a possibility, as of now. Willis is also nursing a shoulder injury of his own, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.

Huntley, a 2022 Pro Bowler, is 6-9 as a starter in the NFL. Over six seasons, he’s thrown for 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions with a passer rating of 80.9, to go along with 733 yards and five scores on the ground.

Update:

In the third quarter, Jackson was officially ruled out with an injury by the Ravens.
