The Los Angeles Rams quarterback room is fascinating in the sense of you have Matthew Stafford and then who? Stetson Bennett? Ty Simpson? Are those young boys ready to play in the NFL right now? I don’t know. As good as Stafford is, we don’t know how well his backups are, and you can rate this quatertback room however you want.
On the one hand, you had Stafford. A+, right? The others? I don’t know. Do you know? If Stafford goes down, the Rams may have the backup ready on the roster, or they may need to find someone. I don’t know. The situation the Rams are in is interesting.

Simpson, in theory, should be good enough to keep the team rolling in the event of a Stafford injury this season, or retirement down the line. This is beneficial as their star-studded defense is contractually in position to outlast the end of Stafford’s illustrious career.

Seahawks offensive lineman Grey Zabel went on the Green Light Podcast with Chris Long recently. On that show, Zabel talked positively about the Rams, especially Kobie Turner.
“Kobie Turner is like my kryptonite right now in the game of football,” said Zabel. “I don’t know what it is. He’s just got my number. He just works me every single game. As much as you want to hate the Rams, they’re all really good dudes across the board. Kobie Turner for instance, he’s just out there and he just smiles. He just plays the game for the love of the game.”“
“All of that makes this year the biggest of Bennett’s career, so when a reporter said he thinks the Rams view Bennett as “expendable” it is officially time to be worried about his future in the NFL.
