Rashid Shaheed ended up being a miraculous acquisition for the Seattle Seahawks last year as they went on their Super Bowl run. Shaheed made some massive plays against the Los Angeles Rams specifically, and going into his first full season with Seattle he could do it again.
Despite the Rams having an improved defense, Shaheed may be the fastest player on the field. If he can pair that speed with any type of improvement as a pass catcher and or route runner, then look out.
Don’t sleep on Seattle having one of the best pass-catching units in the league this season. Don’t sleep on Shaheed being a nightmare for the Rams. Don’t sleep on Seattle. Be sleepless in Seattle.
Thanks for checking out Turf Show Times! Have a great Tuesday. Is there some kind of holiday this weekend? I’ll have to check my history books.
“The Seahawks also replaced outgoing offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak with former 49ers assistant Brian Fleury, and early reports indicate Fleury is setting Shaheed up to be a weapon that attacks the Rams’ biggest weakness.
“Rashid Shaheed, we know he’s fast, he had a major spring, I was told,” reports ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “He and Sam Darnold are hitting it off. They’re going to give more – some of those routes you saw that Jaxon Smith-Njigba was running so well last year. He’ll still do those, but they’re going to give more short-to-intermediate stuff to Rashid Shaheed. He’s going to be a big-time player for them.”
“One of the biggest stories of the Los Angeles Rams’ offseason has been whether or not Aaron Donald will make a comeback. Following the trade for Myles Garrett, there has been a lot of speculation that Donald could return.
According to Vinny Bonsignore of the California Post, Donald is seriously contemplating coming out of retirement. “Multiple league sources indicate the greatest defensive player in Rams history is seriously contemplating coming out of retirement,” reported Bonsignore. “What we do know is that in the weeks since Donald broached the possibility, he and McVay have remained in communication.”
“McVay, 40, has appeared in fantastic shape as he posed for a picture with partner Veronika, 36, during a sun-soaked getaway.
The Rams coach starred onboard a French-flagged boat in a post shared by Veronika on Instagram.
He featured in a pair of khaki boardshorts and sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Veronika stunned in a brown patterned bikini.”
*“I can’t get over this stat (for losers): Verse in 2 seasons has more missed tackles than Garrett has in his whole career! Garret 9 seasons = 33 missed tackles vs. Verse 2 seasons = 39 missed tackles. This is going to be huge for our beloved...
