The Los Angeles Rams lead the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 16-6 after the first half of play. The Rams are fighting for playoff seeding, and the Cardinals are fighting for pride. The Cards started with the ball, and L.A.’s defense forced a fumble, but their offense had to settle for a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.
After that kick, each team traded field goals until the score was 6-6 with most of the first half gone.
L.A.’s offense seems a bit off with their offensive line struggling to dominate and Matthew Stafford missing some throws seemingly due to AZ’s pressure.
The Rams eventually made the most of what they had, and converted a long drive into a touchdown to take a 13-6 lead with 1:22 to go in the half.
L.A.’s defense forced their second turnover on the day with an interception, giving the Rams about 40 seconds to try and put something together before the second quarter came to its end.
The Rams rewarded their defense with a quick field goal and a 16-6 lead at the half.
