Las Vegas Raiders starting left tackle Kolton Miller suffered an injury on the Raiders’ final drive in the 25-24 Week 4 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Miller’s injury occurred shortly before Daniel Carlson’s game-winning field goal attempt was blocked, so the offensive lineman did not return to the game. At the time of writing, it’s not clear what exactly Miller injured, but it appeared as if the training staff was working on his lower body.
The eight-year veteran has been Las Vegas’ most consistent offensive lineman this season and will be a significant loss to a position group that has struggled for the majority of the year, if the injury is serious. The Raiders will likely turn to Stone Forsythe in that scenario. Forsythe, the team’s swing tackle, stepped in for DJ Glaze last week and replaced Miller on Sunday. He’s a five-year pro who spent the first four seasons of his career with Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks.
Silver and Black pride will update this story as more information becomes public about Miller’s injury.
