Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz popped up on the injury report this week with a knee injury, but the team has elevated his questionable status to no injury designation for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
The Steelers signed long snapper Cal Adomitis, a Pitt and Central Catholic alum, to their practice squad, the team announced on Friday.
The Adomitis singing came after a knee injury limited Kuntz during the team’s practice on Thursday. Since becoming the team’s primary long snapper at the start of the 2021 season, Kuntz had not missed a game, playing in 82 consecutive contests. He will continue that streak.
