PITTSBURGH — Defensive tackle Derrick Harmon could return to the lineup for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins, providing a much-needed boost to the team’s run defense.
Harmon the club’s first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Oregon, missed the last two games with a knee injury. On Tuesday, head coach Mike Tomlin said that he is expected to be limited in the early portion of the week, but is expected to practice and could return to action.
Harmon has missed four games this season with a pair of knee injuries, the first two and the most recent two. In those four games, the Steelers have allowed 191.25 yards per game. In the nine that Harmon has played, they’ve allowed nearly 100 fewer yards per game, at 96.
