It took me five days to get mad at the Eagles again. We’re back baby. Obviously we have the entire offseason and training camp to scrutinize this guy. I’m gonna let the excitement from the Super Bowl wash over me like one brunch cocktail after waking up with a hangover. I just don’t love it. I’ve read he’s a Nick Sirianni guy and we saw what happened the last time Sirianni promoted from within. I’m hoping Howie had the lion’s share of input here. Now it’s obviously tough when you make the Super Bowl, your OC gets poached, and the majority of candidates have already found new work. So the Birds’ hands were tied.
Jalen Hurts also didn’t give him the greatest endorsement when asked about him last week:

Need the Eagles to drop some behind the scenes mic’d up propaganda to sway me. Make it look like Patullo was actually the one who wanted to go for the jugular in the Super Bowl when Hurts chucked that bomb to DeVonta Smith. Just like when reporters told us Mike Groh and Press Taylor introduced the Philly Special to Doug Pederson after Frank Reich got poached. I need some convincing.
There is not going to be a shortage of pasta in the break room at NovaCare. We’ve got more paisans on staff than a Martin Scorsese film.
UPDATE: Parks Frazier will take over Patullo’s role:
