Legendary announcer Kevin Harlan once again aced a significant and memorable call from the broadcast booth on Sunday.

Kevin Harlan called the Los Angeles Rams-Chicago Bears Divisional Round game at Soldier Field for Westwood One Radio. The Rams narrowly outlasted Chicago 20-17 in an overtime thriller, reaching the NFC Championship Game for the first time in four years.

The game only went to overtime thanks to Caleb Williams’ miraculous touchdown heave to Cole Kmet in the waning seconds. And boy, did Harlan ever have a grand time calling this play:

According to Next Gen Stats, that pass only had a completion probability of 17.8 percent. Unfortunately, it will go down as one of the NFL’s great “all for nothing” plays.

The Rams will now visit the top-seeded Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday at Lumen Field.

It was another remarkable performance in the broadcast booth by Kevin Harlan, who’s one of the most universally loved play-by-play voices in the game. Unlike other NFL announcers, you never have to worry about Harlan messing up a call at a special moment.
