Aaron Rodgers and Kenny Pickett are both Super Bowl champions. However, their NFL careers are just as different as their hand size.
It is a stark contrast!
Rodgers joined the Steelers on Tuesday right in time for NFL minicamp. Meanwhile, Pickett is competing against two rookies and Joe Flacco to be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. The 41-year-old is not directly replacing the 27-year-old in Pittsburgh but the former will take over as QB1 just two years after the latter.
One of the biggest conversation points about Kenny Pickett is the size of his hands. They are extremely small. He went to great lengths to increase his hand size prior to the NFL Draft and, although some of his unusual techniques were effective, he recorded a below-average measurement at the NFL Combine after he initially refused to get measured at the Senior Bowl. His tiny hands immediately raised concerns at his first training camp on a botched snap. They later caused a hilarious cartoon-like fumble with the Eagles.
Cleveland traded a fifth-round pick and Dorian Thompson-Robinson for Pickett during the offseason. Flacco made his extremely tiny hands look even smaller during their first practice with the Browns.
The same thing happened in Pittsburgh. Aaron Rodgers’ hands measure at 10 1/8 inches, which is on the larger end of the National Football League. They’re big hands!
One particular photo has been the focus of chatter on the internet. Rodgers’ fingers come just a few inches from touching when his hands are wrapped around the middle of ball.
Let’s compare that to Pickett— who always wears two gloves to help with grip.

There are a lot of question marks when it comes to the Aaron Rodgers experiment in Pittsburgh. Regardless of what happens, Steelers fans won’t have to worry about hand size like they did with Kenny Pickett!
