Make no mistake, the players on the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs came to New Orleans with the sole goal of winning Super Bowl. For a player like Deandre Hopkins, it could be the perfect cap on what could end up being a Hall of Fame career.

It’s a sentimental moment for Deandre Hopkins, as well. He is wearing the coat of his late father who died when he was just an infant, and it’s a pretty awesome story.

Hopkins is winding down a career that saw him making the NFL All-Pro team five times early in his career as a Houston Texan before moving to Arizona, Tennessee, and then to Kansas City in a midseason trade this year. This is his first Super Bowl appearance.

That’s an awesome gesture from Deandre Hopkins. It’s the kind of thing that makes you think he is about to have a big game. He only has one catch for 11 yards in the playoffs so far, and they may need more than that out of him today.
