The Kansas City Chiefs are headed back to the Super Bowl after an AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills. That’s not exactly music to the ears of a number of NFL viewers.
Some have grown tired of seeing Patrick Mahomes and Co. continue their run of success. Teammate Drue Tranquill doesn’t seem to care about those critics.
The linebacker took to social media on Sunday to celebrate his team’s big win. He congratulated the Buffalo Bills while taking a swipe at those who continue to minimize the Chiefs‘ playoff success.
Shoutout to the @BuffaloBills .. heck of a battle.
The rest of y’all can take all that “ref” talk & kick rocks. We stand on business

A narrative currently surrounds the franchise with viewers believing Kansas City gets preferential treatment from the NFL. Officiating has been at the center of that argument as the Chiefs often seem to be the beneficiary of controversial calls in crucial moments of games.
It happened a few times in a win over the Texans, and again against Buffalo. It’s led many to consider boycotting the Super Bowl altogether.
Drue Tranquill isn’t hearing it. He believes the Chiefs have earned the right to play for another ring. Nothing has been given.
Should have taken your $1M from #TrumpCoin and taken a nice vacation.
He didn’t get it & you know it. #GoChiefs https://t.co/jhwFAaHAd7

By booking its latest ticket to the Big Game, Kansas City will now play in its fifth Super Bowl in the last six seasons. After winning the previous two, the Chiefs will attempt the three-peat in New Orleans against the Philadelphia Eagles.
This will be a rematch of the 2022 title matchup in which Kansas City emerged victorious, 38-35.
