Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been accused of inappropriate behavior by 7 more massage therapists. These claims now bring the total of accusers to 16 women from eight different Baltimore-area spas.
In late January, it was first reported that at least six different massage therapists had come forward with allegations of improper behavior by Justin Tucker. Two of the spas where the women worked reportedly banned Tucker completely.
Tucker would later issue a statement denying he had done anything wrong. “In accusing me of misconduct, the article takes innocuous, or ambiguous, interactions and skews them so far out of proportion that they are no longer recognizable, and it presents vague insinuations as fact. This is desperate tabloid fodder,” he wrote.
Now, the same media outlet that reported the first set of accusations, The Baltimore Banner, issued another report which claims there are now 16 massage therapists who are accusing Justin Tucker of inappropriate behavior.
Three of the women came forward shortly after the publication of the first group of allegations, and then more recently, seven new accusers were added to the growing list.
The charges being made against Tucker include intentionally and repeatedly exposing his genitals, brushing therapists’ thighs with his fingers, and other disturbing allegations.
According to the Banner, one massage therapist said Justin Tucker made intense eye contact throughout the massage while exposed. Another shared screenshots of text messages her friends had sent her, which read, “Women are coming out in droves. You weren’t the only one.”
That woman also claimed Tucker asked her to focus on his groin area during the massage and at one point during the massage yanked her hand toward his groin. “Everything in me was telling me to walk out of the room,” she said. “But … I was fresh out of massage school and this was my first job.”
Another woman told the Banner, “I regret not saying something before, but it’s scary. I was thinking, ‘Oh my God, he’s a high-profile person. Are they going to believe me?'”
“Maybe if I had said something, nothing else would have happened,” another massage therapist said. “I just want these girls who came after me to know they’re not alone.”
