The debate about what the “best beer” is has raged on amongst bros for decades. The airport beer, shower beer, porch beer, after-beach beer, etc. Journeyman NFL quarterback Ben DiNucci has added another beer to that conversation: the airport-cut-from-the-NFL-for-the-7th-time beer.
DiNucci’s social media post unveiling the ultra-rare airport-cut-from-the-NFL-for-the-7th-time beer came after he was cut by the Atlanta Falcons. DiNucci signed with Falcons on August 15 before being released during preliminary roster cuts on August 23.
Not many beers better than the airport “I just got cut from the NFL for the 7th time” beer.

Had DiNucci joined the Atlanta Falcons, it would’ve likely been as a practice squad player, as the club already have Michael Penix Jr., Kirk Cousins, and Easton Stick on their roster.
DiNucci has appeared in three NFL games and has just one start — with all three coming in 2020 with the Dallas Cowboys. In his three NFL apperances, DiNucci completed 23 of 43 passes (53.4%) for 219 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions. He’s also carried the ball six times for 22 yards.
In 2023, DiNucci played in the XFL with the Seattle Sea Dragons. DiNucci started in 10 games for the Sea Dragons, leading the team to a 7-3 record and a playoff berth. That season, DiNucci lead the XFL in passing yards (2,671), attempts (374), completions (272), and interceptions (13), while ranking second in passing touchdowns (20).
After his stint in the XFL, DiNucci spent 2023 with the Denver Broncos practice squad. In 2024, DiNucci spent a few weeks with both the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.
