The Green Bay Packers have had a busy offseason this year after making some big changes with the wide receiver room. On Wednesday, Jordan Love opened up about how he feels about the group of wideouts he’ll be working with in the 2026-27 campaign.
During a guest appearance on “The Insiders,” the 27-year-old quarterback exuded confidence with the players still on the roster. Although Romeo Doubs signed with the New England Patriots and Dontayvion Wicks was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, Love is all in on the guys in Green Bay.
“We lost a couple guys in our receiver room,” said Love. “I’m happy for those guys and where they’re going. But we still got some great weapons. Christian [Watson], [Jayden Reed], [Matthew] Golden, so we got some weapons. Once we get [Tucker Kraft] back healthy, we’ll be at full strength.”

The Packers ensured the pecking order in the passing game moving forward, as in the past few seasons, the wide receiver room was a bit crowded. But now it’s clear who the top three targets are, with Watson, Reed, and Golden leading the way for the wideouts and Kraft in line for a big role as the starting tight end.
Green Bay went all-in on both Christian Watson and Jayden Reed by giving both of them new contract extensions to remain with the Packers for the long haul. Meanwhile, Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft are still on their rookie deals.
Jordan Love is coming off another solid season, but he will hope for more success after the Packers were bounced out of the playoffs by the Chicago Bears. Love finished the 2025-26 campaign with 3,381 passing yards and 23 touchdowns while completing 66.3% of his pass attempts.
