Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love made NFL history in Sunday night’s 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Love became the first quarterback to have completed 20 passes in a row, thrown for 350 or more yards, throw three or more touchdowns, and have zero turnovers and sacks.
Love’s 20 straight completions tied a franchise record with Brett Favre (set in 2007). Love finished 29 of 37 for 360 with three touchdowns, no interceptions, and a passer rating of 134.2.
Ironically, Love tied Favre’s 18-year record on the same night that he faced Aaron Rodgers.
“It’s definitely special,” Love told NBC Sports on tying Favre’s record. “Obviously, I think we faced a little adversity in the first half and bounced back. We knew it was gonna be a hyped-up game all week going against A-Rod. Glad we came in here handled business.”
Favre gave Love a shout out on X for tying his record.
“Congratulations to Jordan Love for his 20-straight completions in a row and the Packers on the big win last night!” Favre posted on X.
Rodgers also gave high praise to his successor.
“He played fantastic,” Rodgers said of Love. “He’s had a really nice season. He’s been really efficient with the football. He’s opportunistic, though I felt like he was very patient tonight. They took the run solutions. He took the check downs, moved in the pocket well. Thought he played really well.”

Excluding the kneel down at the end, the Packers scored on all five of their possessions in the second half. Green Bay had three straight touchdown drives to open the second half.
The Steelers had no answer for tight end Tucker Kraft. The big tight end out of South Dakota State recorded seven receptions for 143 yards (20.4 average) and two touchdowns.
“We knew we just had to focus on the details,” Love said of Green Bay’s second-half surge. “Everybody’s got to go out there, do their job and just lock in and go out there and make the plays we weren’t making in the first half. And we did.”
