With three batted balls on Sunday Night Football, Jordan Davis moved into a tie for first place in the NFL. He entered the night in a nine-way tie for 10th place, and finished level with Cam Heyward, Zach Allen, and Maxx Crosby:

Jalen Carter had two batted balls on the evening as well, so that’s five total on the night and 10 on the season between Carter and Davis. Once the stats are processed and added into the database, the Eagles will officially have the second most batted balls in the NFL, behind only the Steelers.

Not only does Davis have 6 knocked down passes with fewer snaps than these other tackles and defensive ends, but he has the game-winning field goal block from the Rams game. He’s really been excellent this year, a key piece on a unit that’s playing some elite football. Already this year he’s hit career highs in sacks and tackles for loss and is on pace to shatter his total snaps number.
