Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders 2024 draft class fared Sunday in a 20-10 win over the Tennessee Titans and what it means heading into Sunday’s game at the Kansas City Chiefs:
Brock Bowers:
The star tight end missed his second straight gam with a lingering knee injury. He was injured in Week 1, but played through Week 4. Yet, he has not improved and the team sat him down. Raiders coach Pete Carroll said Bowers is progressing, but the team might let him rest until after next week’s bye week.
Jackson Powers-Johnson:
The second-round pick started is entrenched as a starting guard.
D.J. Glaze:
The third-round pick has had his up and downs, but he didn’t allow any pressures in Week 6. Nice work.
Decamarion Richardson:
The fourth-round pick played eight special teams snaps. He hasn’t played on defense yet this season.
Tommy Eichenberg:
The fifth-round pick from Ohio State played 12 snaps on defense, his first since Week 1 when there was an injury. With Germaine Pratt gone, Eichenberg might continue to get some rotational snaps each week. He also played 19 snaps on special teams.
Dylan Laube:
The sixth-round pick was the No. 3 running back didn’t play any offensive snaps in Week 5 for the third straight game. He did have two kick returns for 57 yards. He injured his hamstring late in the game. His status for Sunday is not yet known.
Jonah Laulu:
Laulu, claimed last year off waivers from Indianapolis, played 67 percent of the defensive snaps (his range) and had three tackles. He did have his fourth sack of the season. He is the first Raiders’ defensive tackle to record four sacks in the first six games of the season since Bill Pickel in 1986. Laulu is a player.
