Johnny Manziel doesn’t seem to be a big fan of the city of Cleveland. Back in 2014, the Cleveland Browns selected Manziel to become their franchise QB after he had some stellar seasons at Texas A&M.
Unfortunately, Manziel’s career fizzled out after just two seasons with the team as he struggled with substance abuse and nonstop partying.
On Wednesday, Manziel appeared on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast and said he really hated living in Cleveland during his brief NFL stint.
‘I hated Cleveland so much. That place definitely aided to my depression.”
Johnny Football says that once he experienced the brutal Cleveland winter, he wanted out.
‘Coming from Texas, that first real brutal November winter, it was like, oh man, what the f—. You don’t see the sun, it’s just so f’ing grey. It was tough sledding for me for sure.”

Manziel went on to admit that he wasn’t focused when he played in the NFL, which cut his NFL career short.
“I definitely could have been a person who played in the NFL for 8-10 years, got to a second contract, and had success. I had a lot of talent, a lot of ability, that I knew was special. I just didn’t work on it the way I needed to take it to that next level,”
