The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-1 and coming out of their Week 5 bye, getting set to host the Cleveland Browns, a team they have not lost a regular season game to at home since 2003. And while the Steelers are 3-1, they’ve had to weather the storm with multiple injuries on defense.
One of those injuries was to starting cornerback Joey Porter Jr., who suffered a hamstring injury in Pittsburgh’s Week 1 win over the New York Jets. He hasn’t played in a game since, but made it known that will change this week.
“I’m back, surely,” Porter said via Alan Saunders of Steelers Now.
The Steelers still have injury questions surrounding Jalen Ramsey, and it looks as if he will miss Week 6 and potentially more games beyond that, which means Porter is getting healthy at a good time.
