It’s been a whirlwind beginning of the week for the Cincinnati Bengals. After a disheartening home loss at the hands of the Lions (their third straight defeat), the team reassessed their roster status.
Backup quarterback Jake Browning has struggled since taking over in the second half of Week 2 for Joe Burrow, throwing eight interceptions in three and a half games of play. With the high amount of turnovers and the team hitting a major losing streak, the Bengals made a seemingly-unlikely move to bring in veteran signal-caller, Joe Flacco.
Can Flacco, a guy with extensive AFC North experience, steady things for Cincinnati? Is this a sign that the team is expecting Joe Burrow back this year, or the opposite?
