Joe Burrow had some news to deliver regarding the much-talked-about Batmobile.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was back in the spotlight Tuesday after a docuseries featuring his highs and lows of the 2024 NFL season was released.
Streaming in full on Tuesday on Netflix, season two of “Quarterback” follows Burrow, Detroit’s Jared Goff, and Atlanta’s Kirk Cousins through the successes and bumps players face both on and off the field.
In the season’s sixth episode, Burrow talks openly about the burglary of his home while he was playing on Monday night in Dallas.
The documentary shows footage of Burrow walking off the field, happy, and then showing him sitting in his locker at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium on his phone, receiving news of the break-in.
“Of f—ing course this happened to me right now,” Joe Burrow said in an interview in the documentary.

“When you’re on cloud nine, something’s gonna bring you right back down. I just felt like the kind of year that it was.”
Burrow had planned to purchase a $2.9 million Batmobile replica before his home was broken into last December.
Netflix producers asked him whether the home break-in was the “impetus to cancel” his plans to purchase a $2.9 million Batmobile from Wayne Enterprises.
“Yeah,” Burrow tells producers.
“Yeah, that was, uh, you know, that’s… I didn’t end up getting the Batmobile because I had other things that I wanted to deal with at that point.”
The Bengals have finished 9-8 and missed the playoffs in each of the past two seasons.
Burrow knows they have to get back to the postseason in 2025.
With Joe Burrow leading the way, the Cincinnati Bengals have one of the strongest quarterback rooms in the NFL.
After an injury-plagued season in 2023, during which he was limited to 10 games, Burrow had a big bounce-back year in 2024, playing all 17 games and throwing for 4,918 yards, 43 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
Combined with a better defense, these numbers should get the Bengals back into the playoffs.
