Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow called out the NFL for screwing his team with another bizarre regular-season schedule decision.
The full 2025 NFL schedule was released last week, and the Bengals have been assigned four prime time games. Interestingly, the league has put the Bengals’ annual road game against the Baltimore Ravens in a prime time slot for the fourth straight year, as the two clubs will meet on Thanksgiving (8:20 p.m. EST.
Per ESPN’s Ben Baby, Joe Burrow questioned the NFL’s decision to give them another prime time game in Baltimore following Tuesday’s voluntary workouts.
“Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight prime-time year isn’t ideal,” Burrow said. “Maybe we can get one of those in Cincinnati next year. Please.”

The Bengals visited the Ravens on ‘Sunday Night Football’ in Week 5 of the 2022 season and on ‘Thursday Night Football’ in Week 11 and Week 10 of the 2023 and 2024 campaigns, respectively.
One can understand Joe Burrow’s frustration with the scheduling, too. The Bengals lost each of those three games, and only missed out on the postseason by one game in 2023 and 2024. If the NFL hadn’t scheduled those ‘TNF’ games in short weeks, perhaps Cincy would have found a way to win one or both contests.
The Ravens have certainly had Joe Burrow’s number since he broke into the league five years ago. The No. 1 pick of 2020 is 3-6 with 21 touchdowns and five interceptions, taking a whopping 24 sacks in those nine contests.
Burrow did lead the Bengals to victory over the Ravens in the 2022 AFC Wild Card Round, but Baltimore had to play backup Tyler Huntley with Lamar Jackson sidelined.
