Talk about a Joe Burrow trade is going up quickly once the Bengals’ offseason begins. It began with a single social media post. DraftKings shared a fake image of Burrow wearing a Los Angeles Rams jersey, standing next to coach Sean McVay and receiver Puka Nacua.
The image made everyone wonder. Fans and analysts began wondering if Burrow could replace Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles. The surroundings are also favouring this. Burrow had recently shared his frustration after another rough season in Cincinnati.
“We don’t want to be where we are now, so something has to change,” Burrow said before Week 18, according to ESPN. He also added, “Whether it’s players we have continuing to improve and get better and play championship-caliber football or bringing in guys that will or whatever it may be. Obviously, something has to [change].”
Burrow missed more than two months of the 2025 season with a turf toe injury. Even so, he put up decent numbers. He completed nearly 67 percent of his passes, threw for 1,809 yards, and had 17 touchdowns with five interceptions. The statistics did not address the larger issue.
Cincinnati finished the season full of questions. Burrow is under contract through 2029, which makes a trade unlikely. Still, one recent post from him caught fans’ attention, and many believe it showed which team he would want to be traded to.
The DraftKings post showed the way for fan theories. Many Rams fans see Burrow as a perfect fit in McVay’s offense. Some even mapped out a future plan.

“In a perfect world the Rams win the Super Bowl and Matt Stafford retires on top,” one fan wrote. “Then in the offseason the Rams trade for Joe Burrow.”

Another fan warned division rivals. “The Rams could jump from Stafford to Burrow and prop their window open for several years,” the fan posted.
I said this awhile back..I think Niners fans should be very concerned about this.

LA has the cap space to get it done, and 2-1st round picks to start the conversation.
I don’t like it. https://t.co/O5nxd0h7VA

Others compared Burrow to Stafford’s early career. “Joe Burrow is what Stafford was in Detroit. Trade Joe to the Rams after Stafford retires, and you’ll see,” one comment read.
Fuck it, I’ll...
