The Los Angeles Chargers pulled off a last-second win against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday thanks in large part to the play of quarterback Justin Herbert. One highlight throw in the fourth quarter was particularly key in securing the victory.

With just 30 seconds left in the game, the Los Angeles Chargers took a 2-and-10 snap from the 41 yard line. Quarterback Justin Herbert narrowly avoided a sack that would have severely derailed the drive by shedding the closing defender and delivering a pass to wide receiver Ladd McConkey, who then juked a helpless Miami Dolphin and brought the ball another 30ish yards up the field.

From there, the Chargers were able to wind down the clock and kick a game-winning field goal to escape Miami with a win.

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he’ll be thinking about Justin Herbert’s throw to Ladd McConkey until he’s in the grave

After the game, Chargers’ head coach Jim Harbaugh had a predictably Harbaugh-ian way of expressing his appreciation for Herbert’s play, saying he’ll be thinking about it until the day he dies.
