Gang Green Nation
The first half of the New York Jets game against the Buffalo Bills is in the books, and the Jets are trailing the Bills, 21 – 0.
The game opened with the Jets on defense. It did not go well. Josh Allen played one snap to preserve his bogus consecutive games streak. The Bills backups took over and marched right down the field with only token resistance by the Jets defense. The drive ended with a blown Jets coverage resulting in an uncovered Bill waltzing into the end zone for an early 7 – 0 Bills lead.
The Jets took over on offense and quickly went three and out. Tanks a lot.
As the first quarter ended the Bills were driving deep in Jets territory. The Jets ended the quarter without a first down, as is tradition. A few plays later Ty Johnson ran the ball in for a touchdown and a 14 – 0 Bills lead. The game was all but over early in the second quarter, as is tradition. Tanks for the memories.
On the Jets next possession, they finally got a first down midway through the second quarter. Unfortunately, the drive ended with the Jets turning the ball over on downs on a botched swing pass. Tanks, but I’ll pass.
A few plays later the Bills scored again against a lifeless Jets defense. That brought the score to 21 – 0, Bills. Late in the first half the Jets had two yards passing. Neither team scored the rest of the quarter as the Jets headed into the locker room trailing by 21. They were in prime position to claim the #2 pick in the 2026 draft. Tank goodness for small favors.
Tanks for reading and enjoy the second half.
