The New York Jets lost their fifth straight game to start the 2025 season on Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys came into East Rutherford, New Jersey and dominated the Jets, building a 30 – 3 third quarter lead before cruising to a 37 – 22 victory.
After the Cowboys scored 14 unanswered points in the last minute of the first half to take a 23 – 3 halftime lead the game was all but over. The Jets simply aren’t built to overcome three touchdown deficits in the second half. They never made the game even mildly interesting, scoring all but six of their points in the final eight minutes of the game, when the outcome was no longer in doubt.
Now the Jets prepare to get on a plane and travel to London, England to face the Denver Broncos next week. The Broncos are a pretty good team. The Jets may be the worst team in the NFL. Needless to say, the Jets will have to make some major improvements to be competitive in London.
Let’s take a look at the current odds for this game according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The current line has the Jets “home” underdogs by 7 points. They have been underdogs every game this season. The game has an over/under of 43.5 points. On the moneyline the Jets are +270 while the Broncos are -335.
