We asked Jets fans whether he will return in 2025. It was almost an even split.
The Jets have reportedly begun contract extension talks with two players from their vaunted 2022 NFL Draft class, Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson.
Unlike Gardner and Wilson, fellow 2022 draftee, Breece Hall, is entering the final year of his contract. At this point, there doesn’t seem to be much movement on a new contract.
In this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, we asked Jets fans whether they believe Hall will be with the team after 2025. The results were almost a direct split down the middle.
At this point, it does appear Hall is likely to play out the last year of his deal. Thus his Jets future could hinge on how well he plays in 2025. If Hall reverts to his dominant rookie form of 2022 before he was injured, he could be in for a big payday. If he looks more like the inconsistent back of 2024, the Jets might move in a different direction a year from now.
