Jets fans aren’t fans of Aaron Glenn’s first season

I think it is fair to say expectations were low in year one for Jets head coach Aaron Glenn. People were realistic about the limitations of the roster he inherited. Few believed that making the Playoffs or even having a winning record were necessary to feel good about the direction in which the Jets were heading.

Unfortunately, Glenn fell short of the modest expectations he was given. In our latest SB Nation Reacts survey, we polled Jets fans on whether they approved of the performance of the first year head coach.

That is an ugly number.

Even uglier, my initial reaction was surprised that even 11 percent of Jets fans who voted approved of the job Glenn did this past season. I can’t say I completely understand their approval.

On the same note, fans are sour on the team’s overall direction.

There are few things I am confident about in this life. One of them is that once the Jets start making moves this offseason, the confidence rating will rise and continue to rise through the spring and the summer. By the time we start the 2026 season is set to start, a large number of Jets fans will be confident in the team’s direction.

See you then.
