Two-thirds of fans who voted in our survey say it’s time for a change.
Each week we seek the opinions of Jets fans in a survey called SB Nation Reacts. It’s time to bring the latest results.
This week we asked you whether it was time for a change at quarterback for the Jets. According to fans who voted in our poll, it is.
It is incredible how far the team and the quarterback have fallen. At the start of the season, this would have been an unthinkable question to ask. Now two-thirds of the Jets fans participating in our survey say it’s time for a change.
I’m not sure a switch will make much of a difference. The season is lost. With Jordan Travis injured, there is no young replacement who can step in and benefit from the snaps. Rodgers would be replaced by Tyrod Taylor, a 35 year old journeyman backup who is not part of this team’s future. Really this speaks volumes about how far Rodgers’ stature has fallen in the Jets fanbase.
Overall confidence in the team remains low.
In the two previous weeks the overall confidence level was 6 percent. So there seems to be a stubborn minority who won’t lose faith in the team no matter how hard it tries.
