It is time to bring you the results of our weekly SB Nation Reacts surveys. The Jets lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3 to fall to 0-3 on the season. A game that looked like it was headed for a lopsided result got tight in the fourth quarter. The Jets rallied from 20 points down to take the lead with 1:47 left on a Will McDonald blocked field goal he returned for a touchdown. The Bucs, however, were able to drive into field goal range and connect on a game-winner as time expired.
How did this impact fan confidence?
That is actually a slight uptick from last week’s 45 percent. You usually don’t see fan confidence increase after a game where the team falls to 0-3. I’m guessing the comeback effort left a number of fans feeling good about the team.
How about head coach Aaron Glenn. Glenn has become a bit of a lightning rod during the team’s rough start. This week we asked whether Glenn will be the next coach to lead the Jets to the Playoffs. That struck me as a good way to gauge confidence after a difficult start.
The 0-3 start clearly hasn’t dampened long-term confidence in Glenn for most of the fanbase.
