Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan said today that JC Latham will be monitored this week. It does not sound promising that he will be ready to go when the Indianapolis Colts come to Nissan Stadium on Sunday. The Titans still haven’t placed Latham on IR, so it seems he will miss fewer than four games.
I don’t have to tell you how important it is for Latham to get back quickly. John Ojukwu filled in for Latham against the Los Angeles Rams, and it did not go particularly well. The only upside here is that the Colts’ pass rush is not in the same class as the Denver Broncos and the Rams.
Callahan also said that they are hopeful to get T’Vondre Sweat back at practice this week. Sweat missed the game against the Rams with an ankle injury. With how bad the EDGE guys are on this team, the Titans need to generate as much pressure from the middle as possible.
