James Pearce Jr. is a talented pass rusher who produced in the SEC.

Happy Tuesday one and all.

With less than a month until the 2025 NFL Draft we are now halfway through our look at the potential players who could be on the Arizona Cardinals big board.

Yesterday we looked at a dominate cornerback out of the SEC and today we look at one of the top pass rushers from the SEC, who had 10 sacks last year and followed up with 7.5 sacks this year.

However, there are some questions that have to be answered.

First lets take a look at the 6-5 245lbs James Pearce Jr. from Tennessee.

From PFF:

Pearce is the kind of athlete with the production and disruption scores you don’t let out of the first round. His twitchy movements show difference-making NFL traits that can be situational at worst and All-Pro at best.

Of course there are issues outside of the on the field talent.

“He’s in danger of getting dropped off our board,” the director of player personnel said via Walter Football. “Granted, we are a strict team in terms of character, but we have a lot of concerns, and I think he probably isn’t a fit for us.”

That is from a Tennessee Volunteers based site, but if it is getting out there, then something to always keep in mind.

However, from the on the field, what we know and what we can judge, would Pearce be a fit?
