Cincy Jungle
The Cincinnati Bengals front office struck gold in back-to-back NFL drafts back in 2020 and 2021 with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase.
Burrow and Chase have become some of the biggest stars in the league and continue to put up Madden-like numbers each year together in Cincinnati.
I can still remember the night Chase was drafted by the Bengals 5th overall because he boldly stated that he had full intentions of breaking every record the Bengals franchise had, and he has done just that.
Chase has not only set Bengals franchise records but has also made an impact historically across the entire league, and the superstar wideout stamped his name on another NFL record Sunday afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals.
Chase is now the first player in NFL history to have 80+ receptions, 1,000+ yards, and 7+ touchdowns in each of his first five seasons in the league.
The former LSU Tiger has posted 505 receptions, 6,681 receiving yards, and 51 touchdowns in his first five seasons with the Bengals, and there is still one game remaining this year.
Congrats to Ja’Marr on continuing to shatter records across the league, and thank you for being able to catch the football, despite the narrative created before the 2021 season.
