Off topic perhaps, with the Super Bowl looming, but this made me laugh:
It was an over throw because a lot of deep balls are timing/spot throws and I would knock the WR off his route or spot the QB was trying to get the ball to.

Respect to Jalen Mills. He is a Super Bowl winner and was a starting cornerback on the only Eagles team to ever lift the Lombardi Trophy. 7th round draft pick, too, so he had that plucky underdog thing going for him. He wasn’t some high selection who came into the NFL with big-time expectations.
That said, we go to the adage that “more than one thing can be true.” Mills did his signature finger wag after a lot of plays that he handled well. Either he jammed the receiver or ran him off his course to screw up a deep or intermediate route. But anybody who watched the Eagles back then and had two functioning eyeballs knows that Jalen also did it when the quarterback threw the ball 15 yards out of play or a receiver dropped the ball. That’s why the finger wag became stuff of legend, because he ALWAYS did it. If C.J. Beathard hit Big Dom in the back of the head with an errant pass, Mills would do the finger wag. If Jerry Rice had 10 yards on him and the football hit Rice square in the chest and fell to the grass, Mills would do the finger wag. Hell, if Donovan McNabb threw a worm burner directly into the ground, Mills would wag his finger.
We all love Jalen for his contributions to the Super Bowl team, and he probably got too much shit at times, but let’s not act like this wasn’t a thing:
