Jalen Hurts is your 2025 Super Bowl MVP!
It shouldn’t really be much of a surprise after how the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback carved up the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans on Sunday night in a 40-22 victory.
Hurts was tremendous with 221 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick to go with another 72 yards and touchdown rushing.
Then he looked almost too calm during his postgame interview for someone who just played the biggest game of his life.
Patrick Mahomes (+105) entered the game as the favorite to win MVP at BetMGM before playing one the worst games of his career with three (mostly garbage time) touchdowns, two interceptions, six sacks and just 21 of 32 passes completed for 257 yards.

Saquon Barkley (+240) was the Eagles’ player with the best odds and even more action. The tailback garnered 21.9 percent of all bets on the award at BetMGM and 22.1 percent of all money wagered on MVP. Yet more money Hurts (+375), who held 22.1 percent of the handle.
Those bettors are all celebrating now as Hurts heads back to Philadelphia with two new lines on his already stellar resume.
