The Philadelphia Eagles are the defending Super Bowl champions.
As such, they will have a huge target on their backs this season.
That’s why they won’t rest on their laurels and allow their success to go to their heads.
If anything, they know they have to be more focused than ever.
With that in mind, star quarterback Jalen Hurts revealed the team’s mindset heading into the season.
“Contributions over credit. It doesn’t matter how it gets done, it’s just about getting it done. [Nick Sirianni has] been doing a good job of getting us to be all-in on that. It’s about getting the win no matter how it looks,” Hurts said.

Sirianni has drawn plenty of criticism for his antics as head coach, and some claimed he had lost control of the locker room.
Hurts and top receiver A.J. Brown reportedly didn’t get along, and the dynamics were a big talking point last season, even in the midst of their franchise-best winning streak.
Considering that, it’s only right that Sirianni gets the same level of response, this time with praise, for being able to not only weather the storm and lead his team to the championship but also because of how he’s managed to keep them grounded and focused.
Last year was last year, and it’s all about winning the whole thing again.
Of course, doing that will be easier said than done, and there’s a reason it’s uncommon to see an NFL team repeat.
Yet, with a stacked roster and their mindset, it will be very difficult to bet against the Eagles in 2025.
