Sunday was a rough day for the Jalen Hurts haters, as the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback shined en route to leading his team to a 40-22 throttling over the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LIX, while Hurts took home Super Bowl MVP honors in the process due to his stellar performance.
Hurts was nearly perfect, going 17-for-22 for 221 yards and two touchdowns with one interception while also adding 72 rushing yards and another touchdown on the ground.
Shortly after the game, Jordan released its brand new commercial for Hurts.
The commercial highlighted all the hate that has been thrown at him over the years before ending with a simple message: “Love, Hurts.”
It then asked the haters if they “hate that they got it wrong” regarding the narrative surrounding the new Super Bowl MVP.

Hurts doesn’t often get lumped in with some of his peers, such as Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen, as the best quarterbacks in the game, but with a Super Bowl MVP under his belt as well as a pair of appearances in the big game, he has now cemented his legacy at just 26 years old.
The Eagles built this team around Hurts beautifully and had multiple impressive drafts to beef up the defense and the trenches, which played a major role in bringing home another championship for the city of Philadelphia.
Stopping what would have been the NFL’s first three-peat is a feather in Hurts’ cap that he can wear proudly for the rest of his days.
