The Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline is rapidly approaching, and the Las Vegas Raiders have been linked in several rumors. Though, like much speculation this time of year, those trade rumors may never materialize into actual deals. Yet, Jakobi Meyers not only made a trade request before the season started, the Raiders’ receiver recently admitted he’d still “for sure’ want a trade.

Though, even though Meyers is headed into the final year of his contract, the Raiders haven’t wanted to part with their leading receiver from last season. That may still be the case one week from now, when it will be the eve of the NFL trade deadline. However, some believe Meyers can be had for the right price.

Recently, Fox Sports’ NFL insider Jordan Schultz revealed that multiple teams have shown interest in trading for Meyers. Though, they’ve reportedly “had a hard time getting a clear read on whether Las Vegas is truly willing to move him.”

Schultz added that the current “belief is it would take at least a Day 2 pick for the Raiders to even consider it.” Thus, teams wanting to add the 28-year-old receiver will need to be prepared to part with either a second or third-round pick to get the job done. Odds are, teams won’t offer that much for a player who is only under contract for 9 or 10 more regular season games.

Still, Meyers is drawing interest thanks to another respectable season that’s putting him on pace for a 931-yard campaign. If the Raiders do lose and fall to 2-6 this week, then it may be time to seriously consider any and all offers for Meyers, but it doesn’t seem like Las Vegas has reached that conclusion quite yet.
