We are officially at Week 16 of the 2024-25 regular season, and I am immensely grateful. This week, the Jacksonville Jaguars are in Nevada to play the Las Vegas Raiders. The Jaguars and Raiders have played each other ten times, and the Jaguars lead the series 6-4. Three of those wins have been on the road, so let’s revisit some simpler times in franchise history.

Week 17: at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on December 21, 1997
Final score: Jaguars 20 - Raiders 9
Attendance: 40,032

Keenan McCardell and Damon Jones scored touchdowns. Mark Brunell threw for 243 yards. Natrone Means led the team with 80 rushing yards, and Keenan McCardell led with 116 receiving yards. Mike Hollis made the two attempted field goals. Travis Davis, James Hamilton, Jeff Lageman, Clyde Simmons, and Esera Tuaolo recorded sacks.
