Happy Wednesday, Big Cat Country! The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently 3-1, and football feels fun again. Means led the team with 62 rushing yards, and Jimmy Smith led with 112 receiving yards. Mike Hollis made the field goal attempt. Jeff Lageman and Clyde Simmons both recorded two sacks.

The Jags were on an amazing run. The season had taken a turn for the better; they defeated the Tennessee Titans (fuck ‘em) for the AFC South, had the Wildcard comeback against the Chargers, and the vibes were high heading into this game. We thought the team was going to the Super Bowl and going to win that bitch. The Jaguars received the ball first, and the offense went three and out, followed by the Chiefs scoring on their opening drive. Jamal Agnew had a 63-yard return to set the offense up with great field position, which led to a Christian Kirk touchdown to tie the game at the end of the first quarter. The Chiefs put ten points on the board before Riley Patterson made the attempted field goal, bringing the score to 17-10 at the half. The teams traded punts before Harrison Butker scored a field goal, and Lawrence was sacked to wrap up the third quarter. Hope was not yet lost at the start of the fourth. Both teams scored touchdowns, then we had a series of unfortunate events. When the Jaguars were in the red zone again, Agnew fumbled the ball, and Lawrence had a pass intercepted – season over. Trevor Lawrence completed 24 out of 39 attempted passes for 217 yards. Travis Etienne led the team with 62 rushing yards, and Zay Jones led with 83 receiving yards. Jamal Agnew averaged 43.67 yards in kickoff returns and 7.67 yards in punt returns. Logan Cooke punted four times for 191 yards, and Riley Patterson made the two attempted field goals. Foye Oluokun led the team with 14 combined tackles.
