Jaguars fans — are you confident the team is headed in the right direction?

And do you expect them to remain atop the AFC South for the rest of the season?

Please take our surveyThe Jaguars moved into first place last week thanks to their win over the Titans and the Colts’ loss to the Texans.

Now, Jacksonville and Indianapolis are tied for the division lead at 8-4 (the Jags hold the tiebreaker for record against common opponents).

The Athletic’s playoff simulator gives Liam Coen’s squad a 42% chance to win the division and an 83% chance to make the playoffs. A win this weekend would raise those numbers to 65% and 96%, respectively; a loss would drop those numbers to 19% and 71%.

“One week at a time,” Coen said Sunday. “We’re giving ourselves an opportunity to play meaningful games in November and December, and ultimately that’s all you can ask for in this league.”

According to Jaguars PR, this week’s game against the Colts will be just the third occurrence of a regular season game being hosted in Jacksonville in December or January where both teams enter the matchup with a 0.666 win percentage or better. A meaningful game indeed.
