The Jacksonville Jaguars can clinch their playoff spot during Monday Night Football when the Indianapolis Colts face the San Francisco 49ers. Jaguars players and fans are sure to be tuned in to watch their division rival and see if they can punch their postseason pass.
Now that Jacksonville has 11 wins, they need one of the teams in the AFC wild card picture to pick up their seventh loss to secure a playoff spot. If the Colts lose Monday, their best possible record would be 10-7 and they would be unable to match or pass the Jaguars.
A Colts would also secure playoff spots for the Bills and Chargers for the same reason.
Jacksonville can’t clinch a playoff spot in Week 16 if the Colts beat the 49ers. The Jags would need to win either of their remaining games against the Colts of Titans OR the Colts would have to lose their final game against the Texans. There are some Chargers and Bills scenarios at play, too, where the Jaguars could get in with those two teams face-planting down the stretch.
