The Jacksonville Jaguars placed former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace on injured reserve prior to Saturday night’s preseason game between the two clubs. Wallace signed a free agent contract with the Jaguars on Aug. 3.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed DB Aydan White. Additionally, the team has placed CB Levi Wallace on the reserve/injured list.

Wallace, 30, spent two seasons with the Steelers from 2022-23. He played the entire 2024 season with the Denver Broncos.
With Denver last year, he played in 13 games and made two starts, recording 28 tackles and two passes defended. That represented a significant statistical downturn from him time in Pittsburgh.
Over two years from 2022-23 with the Steelers, Wallace played in 31 games and made 18 starts. He recorded six interceptions, 24 passes defended and 86 tackles.
In 2023, Wallace lost his starting job to rookie cornerback Joey Porter Jr., and the Steelers allowed the contracts of Wallace and Patrick Peterson to expire that spring, instead opting to pair Porter with Donte Jackson, who was acquired in the Diontae Johnson trade.
Originally an undrafted free agent out of Alabama, Wallace spent the first four seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills from 2018-21. With Buffalo, he appeared in 52 games, all starts, and recorded six interceptions, 30 passes defended and 219 tackles.
A 6-foot, 179-pound native of Tucson, Arizona, Wallace walked on at Alabama after receiving no scholarship offers coming out of high school. He eventually earned a scholarship in 2016.
