Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan has something to show off, as his huge megayacht, Kismet, has caught attention out of nowhere just days before the Jaguars face the Buffalo Bills in their NFL Wild Card game on January 11.
Fans and locals noticed the nearly 400-foot yacht along the waterfront, and photos quickly spread on social media. The timing only added to the excitement. The Jaguars are heading into a playoff game, and their owner has one of the world’s most expensive private yachts.
The yacht was last seen in Jacksonville in December. And it suddenly became a big topic online. Yahoo Sports reporter Dan Wetzel described the yacht as a clear “flex” by Khan, earlier in 2025.
Khan purchased Kismet in 2024. The yacht is reportedly valued at $360 million. It also costs about $30 million each year to maintain and operate.
German shipbuilder Lurssen built the yacht and called it a “beautiful, bespoke homage to the owner’s lifestyle.” The boat features six decks and offers luxury at every turn. Jacksonville.com reports that Kismet includes three pools, four fireplaces, and both pickleball and basketball courts.

The yacht comes loaded with luxury. It has a gym, spa, sauna, and even a cryotherapy chamber. The facility also features a helipad, multiple dining areas, an outdoor movie theater, and a dance floor.
Kismet can host up to 12 guests in nine cabins. A crew of 36, plus the captain, runs the yacht. It is nearly as long as a football field and easily stands out on the river.
Chartering the yacht is extremely expensive. Reports indicate that the cost per trip is approximately $3.1 million, excluding additional fees.
This is Khan’s fourth yacht and his third megayacht. He sold his previous yacht, also named Kismet, in 2023. While the Jaguars focus on football, their owner’s massive floating palace continues to grab attention.
