The results are in!
This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans for their expectations of second-year receiver Brian Thomas Jr. during the 2025 regular season after his record-setting rookie campaign.
97% (!) of respondents believe Thomas will record at least 1,150 receiving yards (which is his prop line on FanDuel Sportsbook).
A more reasonable 28% of respondents believe he will lead the NFL in receiving yards.
Thomas is just scratching the surface despite ranking third in NFL receiving yards in Year 1.
Jacksonville’s all-time receiving leader, Jimmy Smith, said in a recent interview with John Shipley of Jaguars on SI, “[Thomas] is on the right track, and Jesus ... he’s got a very high ceiling.”
“I think the talent has always been there,” quarterback Trevor Lawrence said at the start of OTAs. “Now he has a full year under his belt. He’s one of the top receivers in the league.”
“Seeing him do his thing for a year now, when you get the one-on-one, you feel really confident about our guy.”
