A Jacksonville Jaguars player made history tonight, and no, we’re not talking about Travis Hunter playing on both sides of the ball.

Second-year kicker Cam Little blasted a 70-YARD FIELD GOAL through the uprights, with room to spare, during Saturday’s preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before tonight, the longest field goal in NFL preseason history (since at least 1970) was a 66-yarder by Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey in 2021.

The longest field goal in NFL history (regular season + postseason) was a 66-yarder by Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker in 2021.

A sixth-round pick in 2024, Little was the youngest kicker drafted in league history at 20 years old. He set franchise rookie records for made field goals (27) and points scored (108), and his 93.1% field goal percentage was the third highest in team history (min. 20 attempts).

The kid is pretty good!

“He’s a stud,” head coach Liam Coen said earlier in the offseason. “You should see him hit a golf ball; it’s the same that you see out here. He’s explosive. The ball jumps off of his foot. He’s got multiple different kicks in his repertoire in the kickoff game as well … He’s been great. Been really consistent, and he’s really fun to be around.”

Here’s the 70-yarder one more time.
