There’s a reason why Johnny Airports is HIM and you are not. Interviews like this, waiting outside the terminal for the next high-profile Philly athlete to come waltzing down the hallway and seeing John Clark before they see the “Welcome to Philadelphia” sign. It’s been a while since we’ve seen an Airports interview, but they always hit the same:

Did you see that look on Jaelan Phillips’ face during the interview? That’s the look of a guy who is excited to be out of a dumpster fire in Miami and on a team that’s going to actually compete. Sneaking in a “Go Birds” at the end was a veteran move there:
That’s the sign of a teachable guy. No wonder Vic Fangio loves him. He probably got off the plane and Big Dom told him no matter what you do finish this interview with a “Go Birds” and you’ll have hoagie mouths like me eating out of the palm of your hand before you even play a down. If he can get to Jordan Love on Monday he’ll be a crowd favorite. Also, gotta shout out Big Dom during that interview. Gave that entire hallway an ocular pat down to make sure no rogue Cowboys or Commies fans came out of nowhere to Tonya Harding Phillips’ knee. The fact that Howie’s new toy got out of PHL in one piece is already a win. I love that Dom had the car parked right out front of the airport too:

No one’s allowed to park there ever! Big Dom plays by his own rules. Probably has some super special decal the Mayor’s office gave him that no one even knows about.
